Class SC celebrated the Chinese New Year 2017, the year of the
rooster. We discussed the origins of the Chinese New Year, the traditions that
take place each year and what they signify. We made little boxes and Chinese
lanterns. We then shared together fortune cookies, kindly donated by Mrs
Chan and read each message. We were each given a red envelope to open on the 28th
January 2017 – Chinese New Year.
