REPORTS OUT THIS FRIDAY
Pupils in Reception to Y5 will get their reports on Friday.  Please remind your children that the reports are addressed to parents and should not be opened until they are handed over to you.  The reports are very detailed, and therefore we will not be running formal parent consultations, however, if you feel that you would like to speak to your child’s teacher about the report, then please arrange a suitable time directly with the teacher.
New Classes will be announced on Monday morning before the children have their induction morning. The children will be bringing a class letter home that day.
Nursery will be having Parent Consultations on Tues 7 July from 2.00-4.00pm and Wednesday 8 July from 2.00-6.00pm. Please sign up for a timeslot on the list outside Nursery.

KS2 EVENTS THIS WEEK
On Wednesday, using the skills of our own staff and links with clubs from within our own town, we are planning an exciting experience for our Key Stage 2 children.  Sports on offer on this Wednesday morning will include running, bowls, fencing, volleyball and an assault course. The children will be in mixed groups to continue with the team building spirit from our successful Sports Day. The day is being supported by Fram Flyers, Archery, Croquet and Bowls clubs too as well as Thomas Mills High school, Framlingham College and Premier Sports.
On Thursday 9 July we are holding an Art morning where we will be splitting KS2 into their 4 houses (Hitcham-Red, Howard-Yellow, Bulstrode-Blue & Mills-Green)  to work on a pieces of art using just their colour.  This will be a fantastic celebration of the school's participation as a pilot school in the new Artsmark scheme.

SPECIAL LUNCH MENU ON LAST DAY OF TERM
On Wednesday 22 July the kitchen will be serving a Summer Seaside Fish ’n’ Chips lunch, instead of the printed menu.  Dessert will be ice-cream and a homemade biscuit.

YEAR 5 WRITING PROJECT
Over the last 3 weeks a group of year 5’s (together with some pupils from a neighbouring school) have, as part of a writing project led by Mr Vaughan, produced a community newspaper.  The results of their hard work can be seen in the newspaper (available for free  from the school office) with each child commenting upon how much they’d enjoyed working together as a team in producing the newspaper.
