Year 6 Visit to United Church

All of the childrn from classes DB and GA visited the United Church in Framlingham to find out about its history and the worship that goes on there.

Did you know?
This church was not built as a church. It was originally a flour mill.

The church was built in 1830.

The United Church has a minister called Martin Dawes - he sometimes takes assembly at our school.
There are also lay preachers such as Mr and Mrs Webb - she used to teach at Robert Hitchams.

The congregation is made up of people from different backgrounds and nationalities.

The church uses a projector and computer for some great songs. It also has a lovely old organ and a piano.

We spent some time drawing things around the church and taking digitaal photos.
