CHRISTMAS CAROL SERVICE REMINDER– Thursday 15 December
Our Carol Service will take place at St Michael’s Church on 15 December at 1.30pm. Classes PLDD, RV & KT will lead this service.
Parents of these classes are welcome to attend.

HHH NATIVITY REHEARSAL – Wednesday 14 December
A reminder that HHH will be in school for the rehearsal on Wednesday so the children need to be collected from the hall at 4pm please.

CAKE STALL – Friday 16 December
There will be cakes for sale this Friday after school in the front playground pavilion.

FOUNDATION OPEN SESSIONS
The Reception and Nursery classes will be open on Thursday 5 January from 1.30-2.30pm for parents with children due to start school September 2012.
Parents should sign in at the school office where admission application forms are available.

REMINDER - APPLICATIONS FOR RECEPTION PLACES 2012/2013
Reception Applications for next year MUST be returned to the Admissions Team at Ipswich by 13 January 2011. For information go to: www.suffolk.gov.uk/admissionstoschools, you can apply online at www.suffolk.gov.uk/onlineadmissions but you will need to get a SIF form (Supplementary Information Form) from the office.

PARENTING COURSES from January 2012
There are a number of different parenting courses being offered in Suffolk from January. If you are interested in any of these please see the information on the parents’ notice board at the top of the staircase next to Nursery.

DINNER MONEY ENVELOPES
School Money envelopes for lunches, trips etc are available at the office for £1 per pack of 25.

LOST PROPERTY
There are lots of items in our lost property container. Can we please encourage all children and parents to seek for lost items in the container sited at the end of the corridor at the top of the stairs above the Nursery. Needless to say, lots of the items are unnamed – so please can we ask that parents ensure names are on all personal items brought into school – especially sweatshirts. ANY ITEMS NOT CLAIMED BY FRIDAY 16 DECEMBER WILL BE GIVEN TO THE FRIENDS CHARITY BAG COLLECTION ON 13 JANUARY.

SICKNESS & DIARRHOEA
We have had a number of children come down very quickly with upset tummy’s last week. Please can we remind parents that if your child is affected they should be kept off for 48 hours after the last bout of sickness or diarrhoea to prevent infecting other pupils, thank you.

NATIVITY COLLECTIONS
We would like to thank everyone who gave so generously to the charity collections at the end of the Nativity plays last week, the collections have raised £491.
After covering any costs in relation to the plays, the balance of the collections will go to the EACH appeal.

DISCO SUCCESS
The Friends would like to thank everyone who helped with the Christmas Disco on Friday which raised £515, this will go towards funding school projects over the coming year.

FILM NIGHT – Friday 20 January
The Friends film night in January will be a screening of ‘The Smurfs’. Booking forms will be sent out in the New Year.

SPRING TERM DATES
There is a non-pupil day on Tuesday 3 January and the children return to school on Wednesday 4 January 2012.
