Key Stage 1 and Reception children should come to school in their uniform and bring their party clothes in to change into after lunch. Please ensure that party clothes and footwear are practical for normal morning lessons and outside playtimes.

FRIENDS END OF TERM CAKE STALL – Friday 17 December
The Friends are holding a cake stall in the front playground pavilion at the end of school on Friday. Please remember to bring some change to buy a treat.

CHARITY DONATIONS
Our Foundation and Key Stage 1 Christmas Productions raised £328. Donations are going to EACH (East Anglian Children’s Hospice) Tree House Appeal. Thank you for your generous support.

CHRISTMAS DISCO
The Friends would like to let you know that they raised £397.90 at Friday’s Christmas Discos.
We have been informed by the Friends that the children’s behaviour at the Key Stage 2 disco has left them seriously questioning whether they are prepared to run it again. Key Stage 1 were a credit to the school.

LOST PROPERTY
There are lots of items in our lost property container. Can we please encourage all children and parents to seek for lost items in the container sited at the end of the corridor at the top of the stairs above the Nursery. Needless to say, lots of the items are unnamed – so please can we ask that parents ensure names are on all personal items brought into school – especially sweatshirts. ANY ITEMS NOT CLAIMED BY FRIDAY 17 DECEMBER WILL BE SENT TO THE LOCAL CHARITY SHOP OR DISPOSED OF.

SIZE OF SCHOOL BAGS
If you are buying a new school bag for January please can you consider the size as we have limited space on the pegs in school and the smaller the better – drawstring or triangular bags are the best.

REMINDER - DINNER MONEY PRICE CHANGE FROM JANUARY 2011
SCC Catering are increasing the price of school dinners from the start of next term by 10p to £2.10. Any overpayments from this term will be returned on the last day of term. The menus sent home earlier in the term are still valid until Easter. Please remember that you will need to pay the dinner money on the first day back (Wednesday 5 January).

SPRING TERM DATES
There is a non-pupil day on Tuesday 4 January and the children return on Wednesday 5 January.
Thank you for all your support and patience this term with building work etc. I have appreciated meeting many of you informally in the playground. May I wish you all a peaceful Christmas and happy celebrations for the New Year.
